Elevator Pitch 1
My business idea is a mobile car service in college towns all around the country. My company would take calls from college students and see what they need as far as car service goes. For a set fee, somebody would come out to the caller's home and fix whatever is wrong with their car. This is much easier than having to go to a body shop for minor fixes! Hop on board with "Fix it" auto services.

This definitely peaked my interest because I am soooo lazy! If you included a full car wash with vacuum too I would probably be your best client! I would also say that you can make it an app kinda thing, kind of like uber but for car repair instead of transportation. I really love this idea!

I was at my apartment one time and getting into my car from the community pool area and a guy came up to me and pointed out the scratches on my car, and said he does mobile detailing and small repairs and would fix it on the spot for 30 bucks. He was just another student and trying to make some extra money so I agreed to give him a shot. He did a great job and I took his business card and ended up calling him again one time!

ReplyDeleteI think you are on to a great idea here. I am good friends with someone who owns a mobile mechanic business and he does very well. I think the key to success in you case is focusing on the "small jobs", you certainly wouldn't want to do a full rebuild in the middle of a parking lot!

Hi Ralph, I liked your pitch! And your business concept is truly a great idea because it must be irritating to take in your car for repairs and waiting an insane amount of time for something minor. It's an inconvenience that people would pay to never experience that again, and your business provides exactly that.
